Amawakawaka Projects has two directors namely: Morongwa Mabela Xaba as a CEO (Chief Executive Officer) and Mpho Clement Xaba as a COO (Chief Operations Officer).
Monk Xaba provides leadership and strategic direction to the company. His leadership skills have mainly been in government services where he served distinctively as a high school principal and later as a school inspector. In 2001 he expanded his focus into the field of construction. Monk is a keen academic, he studied at UNISA and obtained Honorable achievements. Monk is a keen golfer. In his spare time Monk also continues to do his philanthropic work.
Mpho Xaba is a qualified quantity surveyor & construction manager. He brings both youth and innovation to the team. He started his career at Group Five Limited as a Junior Engineer and while serving as contract manager on multiple projects awarded to Amawakawaka. In 2012 he completed his Diploma in Building Science with the Tshwane University of Technology.
